Viewer favorite soap opera, “General Hospital” is said to add another promising cast to the show. Reports reveal that beauty queen Jesica Ahlberg has joined the cast of the ABC soap opera to play the role of Darby, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
Ahlberg will debut as a new Port Charles resident on the Monday, Oct. 19 episode, Soaps in Depth reported. It further revealed that her character as Darby is a friend of TJ and Molly.
As of this posting, only a few details and information about Ahlberg's character is known. "General Hospital" fans know that Molly Lansing (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tequan Richmond) are the only college aged characters left on the show after Rafe's death. The entry of Darby into the cast would add a new character for the two to hang out with.
Because of this news, many fans are speculating about her role in Port Charles. Others said that since she is friends with Molly and TJ, there is a great chance that she will be romantically linked with TJ especially with her gorgeous looks. This would create some rift and drama between them and Molly.
Others are saying that Darby might be a long lost daughter of a certain resident of Port Charles who was not yet revealed in the show or maybe of a resident that never existed. Despite her good looks, many are thinking that her new "General Hospital" character will be causing some trouble for some GH personalities, Soap Shows reported.
The Miss Alabama 2014 beauty already has a few acting credits and has appeared in TV series episodes that include "Banshee" and "Necessary Roughness." Apart from that, she was also part of some movies like "Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Road Chip" and "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water."
Ahlberg was also part of the movie "Self/less," which stars Matthew Goode, Ryan Reynolds, Natalie Martinez, Michelle Dockery, and Ben Kingsley. Her latest project is the film "Scouts vs. Zombies" of Tye Sheridan, Halston Sage, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Sara Malakul Lane, to be released on Oct. 30, Fans Share reported.
