'Nanatsu No Taizai' or 'The Seven Deadly Sins' to be Available on Netflix this Nov. 1

The hit anime series 'Nanatsu No Taizai' or 'The Seven Deadly Sins,' is going to be available on Netflix starting Nov. 1.

According to the report of Forbes, Netflix has told them that they will officially announce the Nov. 1 launch of the anime series in the New York Comic Con.

In a report by Crunchy Roll, 'The Seven Deadly Sins' (also known as Nanatsu no Taizai in Japan) is said to be a 2014 adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki's fantasy action manga based on Japanese graphic novels which has sold more than 15 million copies.

"The Seven Deadly Sins" books and TV series, according to Forbes, "tell the story of seven knights outlawed after they supposedly conspired to overthrow their king." The report went on to describe that, " Each displays a starkly different personality and is associated with a different sin, though in typical anime fashion, all are young and remarkably cheerful-looking. A young princess seeks their help when the Holy Knights who exiled them capture the king and start their own evil government."

"The Seven Deadly Sins" is produced by the same company that brought to the world the hit anime 'Fairy Tail' namely the Japanese animation studio, A-1 Pictures Inc. The manga version of the anime of 'The Seven Deadly Sins' is written and illustrated by Nabaka Suzuki and published by Kodansha.

'The Seven Deadly Sins' is going to be the second Western anime exclusive of Netflix. The first one is the sci-fi drama 'Knights of Sidonia.' Netflix is also expected to launch its third Western Anime Series, 'Ajin: A Demi-Human,' next year.

The hit knight-based anime series was made available in Japan last year with 24 episodes airing from October to March. The series had not been previously made available outside of that country.

Netflix is going to air all 24 episodes of 'The Seven Deadly Sins' in Japanese with English subtitles starting next month.
