Many fans are looking forward to "Outlander" Season 2 especially after the hit Starz time traveler series ended with Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) revelation about her pregnancy to Jamie (Sam Heughan). While the show will be taking on a more political turn next season, many fans started wondering how Frank Randall's (Tobias Menzies) return will mean for Jamie and Claire's relationship. "Outlander" Season 2 will be covering Diana Gabaldon's second book titled, "Dragonfly in Amber" from her currently eight-book series, which will see Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall travel all the way to France in an attempt to stop the Battle of Culloden from happening. While the upcoming season will introduce new cast members, several fans are leaning towards Tobias Menzies' characters, Black Jack Randall and Frank Randall.
As seen in the season one finale of "Outlander," Black Jack was presumed dead after being ran over by a stampede of cows. However, leaked photos on the set of the Starz series proved otherwise, Christian Post wrote.
The series of leaked photos showed Jamie and Black Jack in a grueling battle, which ultimately proves that Black Jack is well and alive. We might as well assume that this fierce encounter between the two characters is for Black Jack's revenge after being trampled over in Season 1. Though if there's anyone who should be getting revenge, it should be Jamie, not Black Jack. Will Black Jack succeed this time or will this be the last we'll see of his character?
Meanwhile, Carter Matt also noted on the possibility that Claire and Jamie's relationship will be tested in "Outlander" Season 2, especially because Menzies' other character, Frank, will be making a comeback. Frank was not seen in most episodes of the show after his wife, Claire, traveled back in time. Now that Frank is back, how will he pose problems for Jamie and Claire?
