Surface Pro 4 Release Update: Why You Should Forget iPads Now

Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950, Surface Pro 4 and Band 2 were highlighted in the organized press event for Windows 10 devices, Tuesday.

Surface Pro 4, the forthcoming laptop/tablet hybrid, is going to boast of its features that might make the iPad users drool. On top of this, Windows 10 mobile devices have been revealed to sport bracelet and its smartphones have also been unveiled online.

Surface Pro 4 features the newest "Smart Frame" technology which will allow Microsoft to modify the screen size of the tablet subject to the tablet mode, desktop and what is being used, Win Beta reported.

Surface Pro 4 tablet may switch between a 13-inch display while the keyboard is attached onto it, and a 12-inch display while used as a stand-alone device. The "Smart Frame" will probably disable some pixels on the edges of the screen to alternate between various screen sizes.

Surface Pro 4 has come with two screen size models, Gadgets NDTV reported. One measures 12 inches and the other comes at 14 inches, with a display resolution of 2160x1440 pixels.

Surface Pro 4 reported specs include a 500GB internal memory, 16GB of RAM, and the 6th Gen Intel "Skylake" Core processor. This device is believed to be useful in supporting the former generation components of Surface Pro 3 last year.

It may be recalled that the Surface tablets were stale in sales ever since the Microsoft Surface was launched in the fourth quarter of 2012. The company's confidence in its laptop/tablet line-up began to change into profits when Surface Pro 3 was released in the second quarter of 2014. Time shall tell if the Surface Pro 4 is going to remain successful in its running.

Surface Pro 4 full list of features including its newest "Smart Frame" technology were revealed officially by Microsoft during the press event yesterday.
