‘Chicago Fire’ Season 4 Spoilers & Premiere: Casey Goes Undercover; Dawson’s Pregnancy to Bring Her and Casey Back Together?

NBC's Chicago Fire is set to return for Season 4 on October 13, and the show's premiere synopsis has already been revealed. According to reports, Casey (Jason Spencer) will be making his own investigation on a trafficking ring out of frustration. It was also said that Dawson's (Monica Raymund) pregnancy can help bring her and Casey back together.

Christian Today reports that the season premiere is titled "Let It Burn."

The recently released synopsis reads, "In the season 4 premiere, Casey is placed in a dangerous situation while working undercover to bring down a trafficking ring being run outside of Nesbitt's club, and the squad's high turnover rate results in an unwelcome surprise for Severide. In other events, Dawson recognizes that her life is about to change; a new candidate makes an unusual first impression, and residents band together to protest a drug den in their neighborhood."

It can be recalled that in Season 3, Casey was kidnapped and a girl was shot in front of him. According to Vine Report, Casey is frustrated with the progress of the case, so he will take matters into his own hands and go in a dangerous undercover mission to take down the bad guys in Season 4.

The show's executive producer Matt Olmstead also revealed to TVLine that the feds are involved in the case, which makes Casey even angrier, so he will make sure to end the illegal operation and give justice to the girl's death.

Meanwhile, Olmstead also revealed that Dawson's pregnancy will serve as the silver lining in "Chicago" Season 4. He further said that the unexpected pregnancy will bring the couple back together, but Dawson will reportedly wonder what Casey's real motivations are.

"There's definite ramifications in terms of her (Dawson) wanting to know, 'You're doing it for the right reasons, wanting to be back with me? Because we weren't even a couple when this happened," Olmstead explained. According to Olmstead, this will lead to other twists regarding the duo's relationship in the show.

"Chicago Fire" Season 4 premieres on Oct. 13 on NBC at 10 p.m.
