"Maze Runner" actress Kaya Scodelario revealed that the new and fifth installment of Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will speak about Captain Jack Sparrow's quest to find the trident of Poseidon and a glimpse of her character Carina Smith. Furthermore, the cast also revealed the magnitude of Will Turner's son's role in bringing back his father from being Davy Jones.

As Latino Post reported, Kaya Scodelario, one of the lead actresses in the recent blockbuster film "Maze Runner," recently had an interview with Digital Spy. During which, she declared that the production wished to go back to its roots and stick the movie's plot according to its original theme during its first movie.

Scodelario stated, "It does have a lot more of the first movie, that's why they wanted to bring it back to the beginning again. They wanted it to have this epic journey, and for it to make sense, and for it to tie things up, and also lead to new storylines."

With that being said, Scodelario also gave an insight about her character in the upcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" movie. She stated, "Carina is an astronomer, and she is an academic. She's fighting for the right to study at a university, because women couldn't at that time." She added, "So she's on her own journey- looking for the trident of Poseidon- and she has a diary with clues, and she encounters Jack Sparrow along the way, and he messes everything up. As he does. And it's fun!"

In other news, Movie Plot revealed that Jack Sparrow will be retained by Johnny Depp. Surprisingly, Orlando Bloom, the actor who played Will Turner in the earlier versions of the franchise, had also confirmed his participation.

Furthermore, Geoffrey Rush will also retain his role as Hector Barbossa and Stephen Graham as the scruffy Scrum.

The source also indicated that Will Turner's son, Henry Turner, will play an important role in the upcoming film as he had grew up to start a quest and be reunited with his father. In the quest, he will encounter his gnarly father in the attempt to uplift the Davy Jones curse from him.

Furthermore, the source indicated that Jack Sparrow may be already be an immortal as the movie appeared to be set 20 years after the third installment, which was confirmed by the grown-up aged son of Will Turner. However, since Sparrow's facial features, wardrobe and many things about him have not changed one bit, it might indicate that he had been immortal all along.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will premiere this coming July 7, 2017.
