6 Things to Consider Before Buying 'Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Starter Pack'

The new "Star Wars" movie is still months ahead, but Disney has already released toys and merchandise in the stores. That includes the "Disney Infinity 3.0" video game which features "Star Wars" characters.

Reviews said "Disney Infinity 3.0" offers more value this year which makes the game more enjoyable to play. Purchasing the full package would surely cost some money for a "full experience," as Comingsoon.net said, but the good news is that the starter set already feels like a complete package.

But hold your horses! Gaming expert Andy Robertson shared six tips to consider before deciding on purchasing "Disney Infinity 3.0 Start Pack." Take a look.

1.       Star Wars Saga Special Edition Pack might be a better option if you want to access the content for Episodes IV to VI from launch. Players will also experience Stars Wars in order of films release.

2.       Wait for the Rise of the Empire Play Set which will likely be released a month after the game has been launched. That is if you don't need the Twilight of the Republic content.

3.       You can download a game-only version for Toy Box 3.0 and use it with your existing Disney Infinity base. This is a perfect choice for those who only wants to play the Toy Box part. As a bonus, you can access The Force Awakens upon its release.

4.       The game-only version can be paired with the Toy Box Speed Way and Take Over games, giving you access to all Toy Box enhancements and an advantage of supporting all your old Disney Infinity characters.

5.       Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 are at discounted price and offers access to all existing 1.0 play-set adventures. So it's not the best time to get a copy of the first game if you don't have one yet. Adventures include Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, and Monster University among others, which are not available in the newer versions of Disney Infinity.

6.       Consider if you're playing on a tablet or a PC. PC version is better because you can purchase both characters and play-sets without the associated toys. As of now, table is restricted to the Toy Box mode.
