Razer to Release On October “Wildcat”: A $150 Tournament-Grade Xbox One Controller

A tournament-grade Xbox One Controller coming from Razer would soon be unleashed on October this year.

According to reports, Razer will be competing with the $150 Elite controller for the Xbox One which was released by the tech giant Microsoft earlier this year. Razer on their part would be releasing "Wildcat," their latest pro-grade controller which was built for Xbox One and for gamers wanting a pro-experience and edge in the heat of gaming competition.

The said price of the new controller would be $149.99. And as described by Aaron Mamiit via techtimes, the "Wildcat has four extra buttons on the top and on the rear, along with the standard two analog sticks, directional pad, four face buttons, two shoulder buttons and two triggers of the Xbox One controller."

The weight of the wild cat would be around 0.57 pounds making it 20 percent lighter compared to its rivals on the market of Xbox One controllers. "It is made out of materials such as aircraft-grade aluminum for the trigger, along with reinforced high carbon steel for the Wildcat's analog sticks to protect the device from especially rough players."

According to Mamiit, with this new controller, "gamers can bind every button on the Wildcat to any input they choose." However, not all things are new in this new type of controller. For the standard 3.5mm audio jack that is for the Xbox One still remains with this new controller as well as Razer's signature green and black aesthetic. And like all its previous types, Wildcat still remains with 10 feet long wireline and still braided to prevent breakage.

With the ever upgrading gaming platforms and even games themselves, necessary gaming controllers are needed to experience the game in its full throttle. That is why performance gaming controllers are surfacing and at wide rage nowadays. However, the only catch is that with increase of experience, gaming console and its controllers are also increasing in price.
