'23 Jumpstreet' Movie: Channing Tatum Teases Details? '22 Jump Street' Directors Won't Return for the Sequel?

After actor Channing Tatum recently posted a photo on Instagram which is said to be about the "23 Jump Street," "22 Jumpstreet" directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller revealed important details on the upcoming film.

In the photo that was posted by Tatum, it was speculated that the duo Jenko and Schmidt (Jonah Hil) may be going to the Soviet for the third installment of the film. The photo shows Tatum with a fake Hungarian mustache and a furry coat, and the "Magic Mike XXL" star captioned the photo with: "Let's just not even go into what this about".

In September 2014, Sony Pictures and Original Film confirmed that there will be a third "Jump Street" movie and it was reported that there is a possible "Men In Black" crossover as well. According to Venture Capital Post, director Miller revealed during the Television Critics Association Press tour that they incorporated some sequel ideas in the previous "Jump Street" films.

Reports say that both directors had the biggest contribution on the two previous movies; however, they revealed they won't be sitting in the director's chair in the upcoming film. According to Cosmopolitan UK, the two will act as producers instead.

Miller confirmed this and said that they are currently working hard on "23 Jump Street." He also revealed that they already read the first draft of the script, and he expressed their excitement for the film to come to life. Miller also revealed in a separate interview that the current scriptwriter has some great ideas that were not shown in the closing credits of the previous film.

As expected, Tatum and Jonah Hill will be reprising their roles; however, there is still no official release date for the film. In addition, although the film is in its early production with Rodney Rothman writing the script, there is also no news as to who will direct the third installment of the film.
