American Idol Home Turned into Weight-Loss Camp

From swingers to singers… this Los Angeles mansion has had a colorful set of residents over the past couple of years.

But now, the residents will consist only of people who are on a weight loss regime.

The Hollywood Hills mansion where the Top 12 American Idols were housed has now been converted into a fat camp, according to entertainment website TMZ.

The mansion was also shown in Playboy’s reality show featuring swingers.

It spread across 16,000 square feet and is now called Destination Fit4LA, which is designed to cater to the city’s elite. It features elegant bathrooms and suites, a spa, 80-foot pool, high-tech entertainment complex and a swanky fitness club that is designed to provide the ultimate soothing experience, a press release by the fitness club stated.

The décor is modern simplistic and amenities are state of the art.

“Tranquility is the primary word we use to describe our luxurious rooms,” the luxury retreat’s website states.

According to TMZ, the Destination Fit4LA owners had rented out the property to Playboy and American Idol organizers as a means to generate revenue while they were preparing to launch the weight-loss centre.

The 10-bedroom, 16-bath complex is available to guests for $5,300 a week, the website reported.

Destination Fit4LA is co-founded by Lanre Idewu, a celebrity fitness expert, and Chasity Clark, a realtor specializing in capital management, lending and real estate investment.

Idewu and Clark were inspired to create Destination Fit4LA to help people get into the best shape of their lives on many different levels.

“Destination Fit4LA is about personal revolution,” said Idewu. “Our immersion program is based on delivering long-term results in a short amount of time using both fitness and education. We know our guests will fall in love with this experience,” Idewu said in a press statement.
