Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell Slam Split Rumors With PDA Session; Her Ex Ian Somerhalder Couldn't Care Less as He Plans on Getting Nikki Reed Pregnant

Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell easily brushed off breakup rumors after the new couple were spotted packing major PDAs in New York on Thursday.

Nina, 26, and Austin, 30, were saying "goodbye" to each other when they were caught canoodling on the street. It seemed like they didn't care about the people around them as they exchanged kisses and hugs in public. The former "Vampire Diaries" star and the "Whiplash" star couldn't get their hands off each other, Pop Sugar reports.

"In the sweet snap (above) it appears the duo were struggling to part ways and couldn't keep their hands off each other," Perez Hilton reports.

The new pair has been plagued with breakup rumors recently after it was reported that Nina was taking a break from Austin. Following a sweet-filled vacation at French Riviera, the 26-year-old actress was apparently seeking time to relax with her precious friends, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

"It's good to see Nina taking a break from PDA pics to enjoy some downtime and give Austin a break. It's a safe bet they will be back to kissing and cuddling for looming paparazzi in no time, but for now, Dobrev is enjoying the company of her friends," a source revealed.

Meanwhile, Nina's ex-flame Ian Somerhalder reportedly doesn't care whether Nina has broken up or is still with Austin. In fact, the actor and his wife, Nikki Reed, are apparently concentrating on having a baby at this point. An insider claimed that both want to be parents, but Ian is reportedly the one who is in a rush.

"He'd be happy if she (Reed) got pregnant like, yesterday, but Nikki wants to hold off a little bit longer," the source said.

Nina and Austin first triggered dating rumors when they were seen kissing at a comedy club in June. Since then, the two openly displayed their affection in public. However, Nina and Austin have remained mum on the real status of their relationship even after their PDAs.
