‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ Gameplay: Game Will Be Played on PS4, eSports Mode Allows Players To Ban Weapons

Game developer Treyarch has announced that the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" video game will now be played using the PS4 gaming console. The company has recently announced this development during last week's Gamescom 2015. Treyarch  also revealed the new eSports-friendly features which avid fans of the game will like, a report from Gamerant said.

According to Gamerant, gamers will be able to lock a Specialist based on their own preference using the video game's feature called "Specialist Draft." The Specialist Draft feature will allow also the "Black Ops 3" professional players to ban objects such as weapons and perks. The banning of objects can be done via the ban and protect system, and this will be enforced in order to stop any team perceived as an opponent from using weapons.

The report emphasized that the changes being implemented in the upcoming "Call of Duty" e-Sports were welcomed by the gaming community. However, it is uncertain if the video game's eSports mode will be playable since PlayStation is said to be the new home of "Call of Duty."

Meanwhile, Flusharcade reported that both Sony and Activision have earlier confirmed that the "Call of Duty" DLC is expected to be a 30-day exclusive on PlayStation gaming consoles. The video game's DLC will also be available for PC and Xbox.

In line with the news, the report cited that professional players are apparently worried that Playstation will now host the "Call of Duty" video game. One of the reported problems was the fact that players have been used with Microsoft Xbox controllers. Using another controller will reportedly give them a different "feel" when playing the game.

Furthermore, the MLG World Finals for "Call of Duty" will be held on October this year. As it draws near, players will reportedly don't have enough time to familiarize themselves with the PS4 controller or buy another controller that resembles the Xbox One controller.
