This year's iHeartRadio Music Festival, its 5th year, will be held on September 18 and 19 at the MGM Grand Arena in Nevada. The Music Festival is an annual gathering of established names in the music industry, and this year's host is radio and television personality Ryan Seacrest. iHeartRadio's website also reveals that the festival promises "unforgettable performances and surprise on-stage collaboration."
The artists who will be joining this year's line-up are: Blake Shelton, Coldplay, David Guetta, Demi Lovato, Diplo, Disclosure, Duran Duran, Fall Out Boy, Hozier, Janet Jackson, Jason Derulo, Kanye West, Kenny Chesney, Lil Wayne, Nick Jonas, Prince Royce, Sam Smith, The Killers, The Weeknd, The Who, Tove Lo, Trey Songz, and many more.
Included in the roster is Christina Grimmie, winner of the iHeartRadio Rising Star contest sponsored by Macy's.
iHeart Media also announced last Thursday that The Weeknd, Lil Wayne, Blake Shelton, and Coldplay will be performing during the Friday and Saturday show schedule.
A separate gathering called Daytime Village will be hosted for those who won tickets to the main festival. Tickets to the Daytime Village will also be available for separate purchase. This outdoor daytime show on September 19 will feature performers like Big Sean, Demi Lovato, Echosmith, George Ezra, Hozier, James Bay, Lee Brice, Nick Jonas, The Struts, Tori Kelly, Tove Lo, Shawn Mendes, Trey Songz, Walk The Moon, and Zella Day.
The two-day festival will be live streamed via Yahoo Screen (https://yahoo.com/iheart), and in the radio stations of iHeart Media at 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET. CW Network will also air an exclusive special on September 29 and 30 from 8 to 10 p.m.
MasterCard® holders have been given access to a limited pre-sale of tickets, via www.iHeartRadio.com/MasterCard, starting July 31 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. Tickets for the general public will be available by August 1, also at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT, through https://iheartradio.com/buytickets. Tickets for the Daytime Village can be availed by visiting iHeartRadio.com/village. A limit of four tickets per night per purchaser is imposed on both events.
