Is Buying Realty Income The Best Investment For This Season

Currently, Realty Income Corporation has been down to 7% this year yet the shares are still giving positive returns. With its decline but still with consistent growth, do you think that investing in this company is a good call for this season?

According to Seeking Alpha, Realty Income Corp. has been one of the leading blue-cheap real estate investment trust in the market to date. It has always shown consistent growth and has showed their deep dedication to keep their shareholders happy by being competitive in the market and offers the best real estate investment trust in the industry. However, quite recently, they have declined at a whopping 20% for this year which means that putting in investments on this stock venture is quite cheap.

Initially, the company costs $48 per share when it began operations in the market. However, today, it declined to only $44 per share. Even if it's cheaper this time around, there have been allegations circling the corporation that they have numerous debts in Greece and Puerto Rico which can affect the interest of investors to continue their efforts on the company.

In fact, the source claims that there is no way to tell if Realty Income will lower its price-to-AFFO ratio at a range between 15 or 30 which indicated that the market is reevaluating what the company is really worth.

According to Forbes, Realty Income's current annualized dividend payments is at $2.28/share and is being paid via monthly installments. Also, with the data provided above, it is quite evident that there is no precise calculation as to whether the yield of the company is likely to continue in the long run.

Given the decline of the value of shares in Realty Income Corp. but still having consistent return on investments and continued growth, it is safe to say that the decline is not an indication that the company is a bad investment. Therefore, now that the prices are down, it might be a good time to invest on them this time around.
