Tiger Woods denied the recent rumors saying he's having an affair with Jason Dufner's ex-wife Amanda Boyd and insisted that he never cheated on his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn.
According to the Radar Online report which was quoted by E Online News, Woods and Boyd were having a steamy affair for several months now. When Lindsey found out about the affair, she hit the roof and kicked Tiger to the curb. And just this May, Woods and Vonn officially announced their break-up after three years of being together.
Vonn confirmed their breakup on her Facebook account; she wrote on her post that was quoted by E Online news, "Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart." She said that she will always admire and respect Tiger even if they are now heading their own separate ways.
While Woods also confirmed their break-up, according to E Online news, by posting on his official website, saying, "Lindsey and I have mutually decided to stop dating. I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I'll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family."
Woods' agent Mark Steinberg said the allegations regarding Woods affair with Boyd is absolutely not true. He also denied the affair allegations in a Golf Week interview.
On the other hand, Amanda has divorced Jason. They cited 'irretrievable breakdown of the marriage' as the reason for the divorce petition that wasfiled last March 16.
It will be recalled that Woods' marriage to Elin Nordegren did not fare as well. The couple split up in 2010 due to Woods' public confession of committing multiple infidelities.
According to Hollywood Take, it is not the first time Tiger Woods has been accused of cheating on Vonn since the two started dating but apparently this was only a rumor. Someone close to Woods was quoted as saying, "There was no infidelity involved in the split. I know everyone is hoping for a cheating scandal, but it's not, there was no real drama. This was just a relationship that didn't last. It didn't work out. They moved apart."
