'Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F' Trailer, Release Date & Screening Locations: New Clip Shows Frieza & Goku In Epic Battle; Movie to Feature Pre-Show, Fans Get Free Collectible from Japan

A new trailer of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" (seen below) has been released by FUNimation and it features Frieza and Goku fighting each other, with Frieza turning into his final form. The new clip has an English dub, which should please fans worldwide, especially those in the U.S. Meanwhile, tickets are now on sale for the movie's limited run in the U.S. and Canada, and moviegoers can get to have a complimentary Goku or Frieza collectible from Japan.

According to Comic Book, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" will feature a resurrected Frieza taking revenge on the "Z-Fighters of Earth." Though his physical form has been completely obliterated, he will rise again with a "powerful new form" after years in spiritual purgatory to wreak havoc on Earth. Goku and Vegeta must then level up to protect Earth from Frieza and his army.

Jonathan Dornbush of Entertainment Weekly, which first obtained the clip, said, "As the clip suggests, Frieza is wasting no time putting Goku, Vegeta, and other memorable faces to the test, powering up more quickly than he ever has before... it will take everything Goku and his friends have to best their longtime foe."

Meanwhile, with the movie's release date limited from August 4 to 12 in the U.S. and Canada, tickets are now on sale on the "Dragon Ball Z" website. According to PR Newswire, the film will be released in over 1,000 theaters in the two countries and will have an approximate 105-minute run time. This will reportedly include a special 15-minute pre-show featuring "Dragon Ball Z" trivia and cast interviews.

Moreover, a complimentary collectible Goku or Frieza phone charm imported from Japan will be given away to fans who purchase "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" tickets and attend the Anime Expo or San Diego Comic-Con. All they need to do is show their proof of ticket purchase at the FUNimation Entertainment booth at either convention.

The English-dubbed premiere of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" will also be shown at the Regal LA Live Stadium 14 at 8 p.m. on July 2, during the Anime Expo 2015. The movie's full theatrical trailer can be seen here.
