Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Hot Lava’ for Girls Release Date, Price & Where to Buy [Photos]

The Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro "Hot Lava" was purposely designed for the ladies, which is pretty apparent with the color ways chosen for the model. The color scheme is made up of unique hues of hot lava, white, black, and wolf grey shades.

Sneaker Bar Detroit is convinced that this particular shoe model is the Jordan Brand's design for the spring season especially with its spring-themed colors.

It features a grey-based nubuck upper portion accentuated by black and hot lava colors, in addition to a white midsole. There is a highly noticeable black detailing on its tongue, inner lining, and midsole, too. It has a grey body that is made of suede material, lined with stitches of matching colors right atop the midsole.

On the midsole is a 5's flare detail that is made in black tint. With regard its laces, the colors are a wonderful combination of two tones, namely, wolf grey and black shades, combined in an interesting checkered pattern. The Air Jordan icon was imprinted on its sole, right under the hot lava bottom sole, while the word "Jordan" has been embedded on it as well.

Furthermore, bright red accents can be observed on the shoe design's inner lining as well as on the stitched "23" insignia on the colored bottom sole. This bright color actually works by tying together the entire "hot lava" theme, as pointed out by Hypebeast.

Photos of the Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro "Hot Lava" can be seen on the official website of Nike.

According to Sole Collector, the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Hot Lava" will be available in select Jordan Brand stores all over the world as well as in Sneaker Politics as early as May this year, specifically May 9, Saturday.

Its extended grade school sizes will reportedly be sold at $140. Meanwhile, the play school size will be sold at $80, while the much smaller toddler sizes will come with an asking price of $60.

Since the new Air Jordan 5 Retro "Hot Lava" was unveiled to the public, it has primarily been getting some very good reviews - with majority of today's shoe collectors admitting to wanting to get their own version of the design.

"Wish I wore a size 9," said a fan. "I could be rocking the best of the GS and men's kicks. D*** big feet."

Even though the design was purposely made for ladies, it still managed to attract some men. "It is crazy how a lot of men like this," one wrote. "I actually find these nice - more like a nod to the Sunset 5's from a few years back with a different color upper."
