WWE 2K15 PC DLC Release Date Set in Spring! Expansion Pack To Feature WCW Superstars, New Moves & More!

PC fans of the wrestling simulation video game "WWE 2K15" could finally get their hands on the game as 2K released its PC version on April 28. However, players would be able to fully access additional players and features with the game's numerous DLC packs scheduled to arrive this spring.

It was only last week when WWE announced that the game enjoyed by many in consoles is finally hitting the PC. The version is an exact copy of what was released in the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, noted Operation Sports.

The great thing with the PC version is that 2K has made it possible for all DLC expansion packs in the console version to be made available to the PC mode free of charge, which would be huge savings for the players.

2K already made the full game available to the players including the two playable versions of Hulk Hogan and Sting as bonus, reported another article in Operation Sports.

The PC version is set to receive the complete roster of Superstars, Divas, and Legends along with the MyCareer mode and 2K Showcase, said a statement in the developer's blog. Meanwhile, all other downloadable expansion packs would be made available this spring, though no exact date has been revealed yet.

Among the features expected to arrive in the upcoming DLC are the following:

  • WCW Pack which includes its Superstars Fit Finlay, Lord Steven Regal, Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page, and Lex Luger;
  • NXT ArRIVAL Pack that includes Monday Night RAW announcer, NXT General Manager, and former WWE Champion JBL, NXT Superstars The Ascencion and Adam Rose, and NXT Diva Emma;
  • Accelerator;
  • One More Match in 2K Showcase which includes playable arenas from 2011, WWE Superstars Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Edge, Christian, Sheamus, and the Christian and Randy Orton rivalry story;
  • New Moves Pack that includes additional 30 moves;
  • Hall of Pain in 2K Showcase which has Superstars Big Show, Kane, Jimmy and Jay USo, Sheamus, Mark Henry, Randy Orton, Ryback, Great Khali, and Daniel Bryan;
  • Path of the Warrior in 2K Showcase that would focus on the Ultimate Warrior and would include other Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan, Sgt. Slaughter, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and Andre The Giant as well as Legends Ricky Rude, Colonel Mustafa, and the Honky Tony Man, playable arenas, and ring announcer Howard Finkel.

Meanwhile, the character of Paige was not made available in the PC version, said Polygon. It is also unclear whether it would be added anytime in the future.
