'Twilight' Star Jackson Rathbone Sues Sellers of $1.2M Home

Jackson Rathbone, known for his vampire role in the "Twilight" movie series featuring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, did not get what he initially wanted in his $1.2 million home, reports TMZ. He recently bought the property and the one thing that inspired him to buy it was ruined, states the Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old actor bought the house in Studio City, California in 2013. It was presented to him with an intact and running in-home recording studio. That time, Jackson was a member of a band called 100 Monkeys. Owning a house with a recording studio seemed perfect at that time for the musician.

Now, not only is he no longer a member of 100 Monkeys, his home was allegedly gutted of the built-in recording studio by the sellers as well. He initially talked to the sellers, to restore the studio.

Rathbone stated that the sellers refused his demands so he is now suing them, as reported by TMZ. The issue is now going to be a legal battle between the two parties, Jackson Rathbone and the property sellers.

Aside from the complaint, Rathbone, or Jasper Hale in the "Twilight" movies, also had something to say with the trashed front lawn. It was piled with a big heap of garbage when he saw it before moving in. Various objects were in the lawn, as recorded in videos taken by Rathbone himself. A photo showing a pile of suitcase, papers and plastic materials is also seen in the Daily Mail.

Because of the incidents, Jackson is reportedly asking $50,000 for all the damages. Daily Mail's pictures of the inside of the Studio City home before it was sold show a nice interior of built-in studio. If Rathbone convinces the court that he arrived in a trashed and damaged property, the sellers could be guilty of "false advertising" and "misrepresentation".

The house is supposed to be the new nest of Jackson and his wife, Sheila Hafsadi. It will also be the new home of their two-year-old son, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI.

Aside from a yard and an allegedly "gutted" in-home studio, the house also has several amenities included for $1.2 million. It has three bedrooms and a swimming pool as seen in the Daily Mail report.
