Nike Release Dates 2015: Kobe 10 High & Low Photos Revealed

After the successful launch of the Nike Kobe 9 in 2014, rumors are ripe that the popular sports brand is coming out with the tenth edition of Kobe Bryant's signature line.

According to Kicks on Fire, the upcoming Kobe 10 is set to launch three new colorways for fans to choose from. One is the "Blue Lagoon" edition, a low-top shoe with black accents. It also has a translucent sole and an "X" logo found at the traction heel part of the sole, where Kobe's signature is situated.

Aside from "Blue Lagoon," leaked photos of a possible Kobe 10 in purple has been doing the rounds and it has gotten many Black Mamba fans more excited.

According to a report by Sole Collector, the purple Kobe 10 comes in not only one, but two designs. Photos of a low-top sneaker and a high-top sneaker with the same color and accents were posted on the said website.

The low-top version looks the same as the "Blue Lagoon" design which came out last year. The black accents remain along with a black tongue and a black Swoosh design. For the back of the heel, red stitches are sewn. An "X" and Kobe signature on top of a translucent purple sole completes the look.

Another version of the Kobe 10 Low also features a white Swoosh design on the side.

On the other hand, the high-top version, also rumored to come out alongside the Kobe 10 Low, looks similar to the Kobe 9 Elite a -- boasting of Flyknit materials and a boot-like shape.

The rumored Kobe 10 High features an all-purple body with a white Swoosh on the side, noted Sole Collector. The same red stitching is sewn at the back of the heel on knitted material. Instead of the purple sole, this version has a translucent white kind with a tinge of yellow green.

No official date has been given for the release of the new Kobe 10 Purple but talks are going around that this tenth edition of the Black Mamba's signature shoes would hit stores in February. Sneaker Bar Detroit has hinted that the "Blue Lagoon" version would come out on February 7th.

Meanwhile, the "All Star" colorway featuring a black, volt and multicolor scheme would follow come out on February 14th at the same time that the "Poison Green" design is to hit stores too. The latter edition would feature a Volt and Sequioa design.

No price has been announced for the Kobe 10 shoes yet.
