Football News Birmingham Bowl 2015: Florida Running Back Poops Pants Mid-Game -- Story & Game Results

From the NFL to amateur football, As the football season reaches a feverish pitch, Florida Gators running back found himself in an embarrassing situation after scoring a bit hit on Saturday.

Adam Lane, Jr., whose team was playing East Carolina Pirates in the Birmingham Bowl, had a bit of a personal accident during the first half of the game. According to the Inquisitr, during the a drive, the running back had a visible brown stain on his rear, which many noted when Lane was in the endzone for a two-yard score.

While what caused the brown stain remains to be speculation, in a report by Deadspin on the subject, a series of photos documented what happened.

It's believed that somewhere along with drive, Lane may have pooped his pants and as he trotted down the sidelines, photos show one of the team's trainer's assisting lane with a towel the footballer then tied across his waist.

After five minutes, Lane is back n the field sporting a pair of new, white pants -- brown stain free.

While Lane got teased over social media, the footballer did have supporters.

One Twitter user wrote: "I feel bad for Adam Lane Jr. Nobody should ever have to go through that on National TV. Especially in this day and age of social media."

Game Results

The game ended with a 28-20 for Florida with ESPN naming Lane as one of Florida's Top Performers.

"Redshirt freshman running back Adam Lane was chosen the game's MVP after rushing 16 times for 109 yards and a touchdown with Matt Jones sidelined with a shoulder injury. He had only eight carries coming into the game, all in two lopsided wins," wrote the sports website.

"It just built a bigger fire inside me and made me want to work harder," commented Lane.

Other than Lane, Florida's cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III, quarterback Treon Harris delivered for the team along with young blood, namely, Lane and with new names contributing to the win.

One of the game's highlights was Harris' 86-year scoring pass to receiver Ahmad Fulwood followed by Hargreaves interception to seal the team's victory over East Carolina.

"Words can't describe how I feel about these guys as a team," quoted the site of interim head coach D.J. Durkin. "I'm so happy for our players to go get that win."
