Home Tips: Smart Home Products That Will Change The Way You Live

According to Business Insider, a new survey reveals that many homeowners would buy smart home products because of security reasons. It was also revealed that over 18% of the 1,300 respondents said that they are planning to buy a smart home product within the next few months. With that, here are some smart home products that will change one's way of living and allow them to enjoy a 21st century lifestyle.

Security-wise, there are two outstanding home devices that are out in the market today. First is the Ring Video Doorbell which is available for $199. Using this smart device, one can answer the doorbell immediately in any location.

When someone presses the bell, the device will send an alert to the homeowner's phone; this allows them to see and speak with the person. Aside from being a security device, the doorbell also lets people inform their visitors if they are at home or not.

Another top security home device is the Schlage Sense Lock. This device can program up to 30 access codes which can be restricted for specific days and times. This means that guests and housekeepers can have access to the home only when they are scheduled to come in.

Real Simple also listed some smart devices that can be used inside the home and provide convenience. The Ray Super Remote can be the universal remote one could need. It gives you control over electronic devices throughout the house like the television and the thermostat.

The Eero Wifi Trio, on the other hand, offers a set of three devices which wirelessly connect to each other to boost the bandwidth of the connection. Now you can conveniently use the Internet anywhere in the house.

Lastly, the Tado Smart AC Control, which is perfect for apartment dwellers, connects the remote-controlled air-conditioning unit to one's smartphone. You can monitor the phone's condition and it will pre-cool the house once the owner gets closer. It will also shut the unit once the owner leaves.
