Celebrity Homes for Sale: Steven Cohen's Beacon Court Penthouse Comes Back to the Market With Significant Price Chop

After an upsetting time in the real estate market, hedge funder Steven Cohen's Beacon Court penthouse is back with a surprising price cut. 

According to New York Curbed the four-bedroom penthouse was originally listed for $115 million back in 2012. The last time it appeared on the market was in June 2015 with Corcoran where it was listed for $79 million. The penthouse experienced another price cut and is currently listed for $72 million, and Cohen is trying his luck with Elliman. It was reported that Cohen bought the penthouse in 2005 for $24 million.

According to The Real Deal, the penthouse features double height living room with 24-foot-high ceilings. There are also two walls of windows that provide stunning views of the city. It is designed and decorated with Venetian plaster walls, maple floors, stainless steel and Anigre wood. The chef's kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, and adjacent to it is the dining area and a comfortable media room.

On the same level, there is a powder room, reception room, home office, pantru and two staff rooms complete with full bathrooms. On the upper level, there is the master bedroom that encompasses an office, sitting room and two bathrooms that are designed with white marble walls, sinks and black granite floors.

The master bedroom also features two dressing rooms with a lot of storage space and custom cabinetry. There are three other bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on this level.

The penthouse has a total space of 9,000 square feet, and it is located at 151 East 58th Street. The apartment is also equipped with high-end security system and the latest technology like central AC and heating zones, Creston system touch pads in every room to manage lighting, temperature and electric window shades.
