"Guardians of the Galaxy" star and Hollywood A-lister Zoe Saldana has listed her modest New York co-op for $280,000.
According to New York Curbed, Saldana grew up in the city and worked in the New York scene before doing movies which earned her big breaks. She has a long history in Queens and was born in New Jersey but spent most of her childhood in Jackson Heights.
She then moved to the Dominican Republic with her mother when she turned nine years old before returning to Queens again to spend her high school years. It was said that she purchased the property back in 2003 and decided to hold on to it as her fame rose in Hollywood.
According to QNS, the apartment is located in a 20-story building on Union Turnpike just off the Jackie Robinson Parkway. It is close to the subway and also offers plenty of space.
In 2013, Saldana also sold her Los Feliz home for $1,199,000 after she secretly married Italian artist Marco Perego in London. She purchased the home in 2006 for $1,055,000, and it is a contemporary-style home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms with a total of 2,800 square feet of space.
It was reported that the home features living, dining and sitting areas which are surrounded by large windows that offer stunning view of the hills. It also has an updated kitchen that has a breakfast bar and is equipped with high-end appliances.
The master bedroom features walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with a large tub. Another room on the lower floor can be converted into an office, gym or a guest bedroom. Outside, the house features charming outdoor area and a bonus room which is connected to the redwood deck in the backyard.
