Home Design: 3D Lampshades Change Appearance When Lighted

Here's a look at a very modern lampshade that changes it shape and appearance when lighted.

According to Elle Décor, the 3D designer lamps were built by Melbourne-based designer Glen Lewis-Steele for Sayonara. Also known as "Lee Lights," the lampshades are truly unlike any other because they offer an optical illusion. They are also very stylish.

With every move of the head, regardless if it's tilting, bending or bowing, the lampshade can trick one's eyes into seeing shifting cubes. At first glance, the lampshades are triangular in shape and a bulb hangs in between three white sheets. No machines are included to operate the lampshade.

As of late, the lampshade is now available on the designer's official website for $300. Videos of how the lampshade looks have also been uploaded online.

If you want to add a different touch and look to your home, all you have to do is purchase this lampshade. Since it is unlike any other, you can instantly become the envy of your family and friends. Those who will see your new lampshade will definitely feel encouraged to ask you where you purchased it.

Of course, this will be additional sales for the designer, but it will also help boost your confidence especially now that you know you're the one who recommended it to them.

Additionally, since this type of lampshade is not very expensive, you also don't have to worry too much about its cost. Some people might argue with this because there are definitely much cheaper lampshades than this one. But remember, this is the only lampshade in the world that can give you an optical illusion without the use of machines or any form of mechanic. This makes it a truly worthy investment for your home.
