Nerlens Noel News: NBA Player Sued for Trashing a Rental Home in Philadelphia and Threatening Its Owners

Nerlens Noel, an NBA player for the Philadelphia 76ers is reportedly the "worst renter ever." The athlete has been slapped with a lawsuit for damaging the Philadelphia house he rented last year.

In an exclusive report, TMZ stated that Noel trashed the Philadelphia home and left weed in the property. He even allegedly threatened the owner of the property.

Noel stayed in the property from September 2014 until August 2015. He reportedly paid $54,000 for the lease of the 4,800-square-foot home. The owners of the home have enumerated the damage that the NBA player made to the property, which include Gatorade spills on the carpets throughout the home which amount to $30,000, extreme water damage, clogged toilet with cotton balls and feces, broken elevator, and damage to various appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, blinds, dishwasher and window screens.

Apparently, marijuana was also found in the property, in the joints and the master bathroom drawers. The report further states that the owners asked $42,000 from Noel for the damage. The day after, they found a tombstone with the words RIP in front of the property, which they consider as a death threat from the player. Because of this, they're now suing Noel for the property damage and assault. They're also asking for $75,000 for everything the athlete has caused them.

According to the report, Noel has not yet responded to the issue.

Meanwhile, spotrac reports that Noel has a four-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. The contract gives him a guaranteed $14,329,730, and an annual average salary worth $3,582.433. From 2015 to 2016, he will receive a base salary of $3,457,800. His dead money value is $7,842.290. By 2017 to 2018, his base salary is estimated to be $5,848.910.
