Boxing champions Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. continue to throw jabs at each other outside the ring.
The highly-anticipated match, which will pit two of the world's "best pound-for-pound" champions, has been dangled for years but has never materialized.
Mayweather, who many fault to be the reason why the mega-fight hasn't taken place, has offered to face-off with the Filipino legend in 2015.
In response to the May 2 challenge offered by Mayweather, 37, Pacman, who turns 36 this week, commented: "He (Mayweather) has reached a dead end. He has nowhere to run but to fight me," wrote the AFP via GMA News Online.
"I will try my best to (make) this a thrilling and entertaining fight. But I doubt if he's gonna engage me in a slugfest," said the Philippine Congressman and winner of an unprecedented eight world titles in different weight classes.
"You all know his fighting style. Most of his previous fights, if not all, induced us to sleep," said Pacquiao.
A pumped Manny, who brought down undefeated American fighter Chris Algieri last month, said: "I know what I have to do. I will chase him wherever he goes just in case he decides to run around the ring. We will devise a good fight plan against him."
Speaking to Showtime Sports, Mayweather called out Pacquiao for a May 2015 fight.
"I would love to fight Manny Pacquiao," Mayweather said in the video below. "We've been trying to make the fight happen years ago. We had problems with random blood and urine testing. I just want the fight to be on an even playing field. He's in a very, very tight spot now. He lost to (Juan Manuel) Marquez, he lost to (Timothy) Bradley. Pay per view numbers are down extremely low, so he's desperate."
Mayweather also insisted that his camp isn't the one stopping the fight, rather, it was the fault of Bob Rum, the promoter of Pacquiao.
"Floyd Mayweather is not ducking or dodging any opponent," said Mayweather. "Bob Arum is stopping the fight. We have been trying to make this fight happen for many years behind the scene."
The undefeated boxing icon, who hasn't lost in 47 fights, admitted he'd like a bout with the Filipino. SB Nation shares that negotiations between both fighters and their respective camps have already begun.
Mayweather is undefeated at 47-0 and Pacquiao stands at 57-5-2.
