A luxury home in Dallas, Texas that was built during "The Great Gatsby" era is now listed for $9,989,000. According to Curbed, the mansion was originally built in 1923 with a total area of 9,000 square feet. Over the years, the property became bigger with renovations and additions, and now it is roughly 14,000 square feet after meticulous renovation during the mid-2000s. The current owners reportedly took care of the restoration of some of the home's features like the hand-case period tiles, glass windows and the hand-carved wood doors.

The residence has a total of six bedrooms, and it has vintage and antique touches, ornate doors, fireplaces and vaulted wood beam ceilings. The renovation added a walk-in wine grotto and dining room located underground, while a swimming pool was added above ground. There is also a sunken patio courtyard flanked by ivy walls on the garden level of the home.

Listing details of the property reveal that although the house underwent extensive renovation, much of the original foundation still remains and contributes to the property's history and authenticity. Upon entering the estate, one will be in awe of the extensive detail of the entryway which features Wedgewood chandeliers and carved wood columns that were designed by Peter Mansbendel. To the left is the formal living area that offers a stunning backyard view. There is also a sun room where one can have their morning relaxation.
