Celebrity Homes for Sale: Fashion Insider Lauren Santo Domingo is Selling Her New York Loft for $7.25M

Vogue editor and co-founder of online retailer Moda Operandi, Lauren Santo Domingo, has listed on the market the New York loft she owns with husband Andres Santo Domingo for $7.25 million. According to reports, the luxurious couple will move (or have moved already) into the Georgian townhouse in Gramercy Park, which they bought from businessman Michael Hirtensten.

According to Variety, Santo Domingo and her husband bought the property in September 2006. The celebrity home for sale is reportedly luxurious. It measures 4,713 square feet, and the building's elevator leads you directly to the house's living room, Pop Sugar reports. The house boasts huge living spaces, which include the usual living and dining rooms as well as an entertaining building which massively measures 2,000 square feet.

The living room features high ceilings, huge windows and hardwood floors. The kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances, is interestingly window-free.

Santo Domingo's fashion sense is reflected in the New York loft as there is a dressing room and walk-in closet in the home. One of the guest's bedrooms is designed as a media lounge, while the master suite features numerous closets as well as a spa-like bathroom. Other notable design features of the home include the wallpapers with bold pattern and the geometric lighting pendants.

According to Variety, there are other celebrities who live in the neighborhood such as comic book writer and artist Joe Quesada, Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt and Bhaskar Menon, CEO of EMI Music Worldwide. While Santo Domingo's home is available for $7.25 million, the buyer of the property must also shoulder the monthly maintenance fee of $2,750 as well as the monthly real estate tax of $3,666, according to Pop Sugar.

Aside from the New York apartment, Santo Domingo and her husband also owns a property in Paris, which is reportedly filled with artworks.
