Vincent Gallo's New York Pad Sold

Vincent Gallo, Indie film bad boy, has gained $2.47 million from selling his West Chelsea condo recently, news reveals.

The "Buffalo 66" and "The Brown Bunny" actor purchased in 2013 his 1,275-square-foot one-bedroom condo for $2 million, New York Post reported.

Located in the Jean Nouvel-designed 100 11th Avenue at 19th Street, the condo has a living room with terrazzo floors, a curved wall of windows, a private balcony, and a stainless-steel chef's kitchen. The condo also features Sub-Zero, Thermador, and Viking appliances. Amenities included in this apartment are a gym, a 24-hour doorman, and a 70-foot indoor/outdoor lap pool, as per Luxury Listings New York City. The condo's bedroom has a roomy walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom with an installed Kohler tub.

Gallo, who was reported to have advertised sexual services to women at $50,000 per night and in vitro fertilization at $1 million, listed his condo for $2.95 million in January last year. However, StreetEasy says the price was cut into $2.75 million before it was contracted in November. Then, it is sold for $2.47 million to a buyer whose identity is unknown yet. According to the Post, listing brokers Hervé Senequier and Leonard Steinberg chose not to comment on the closed deal.

Born on April 11, 1961, Vincent Gallo is an American actor, model, director, painter, and a musician. He had minor roles in some films but is more remembered in his independent movies including "Buffalo '66" and "The Brown Bunny" which he produced, wrote, directed, scored, starred in, and photographed.

However, American film critic, Roger Ebert, was not entertained by his films, calling "The Brown Bunny" as "the worst film in the history of the festival" during the Cannes Film Festival.

"I had a colonoscopy once, and they let me watch it on TV. It was more entertaining than 'The Brown Bunny,'" Ebert said.

Amid the reports regarding this deal, media still could not reach Gallo for comments.
