Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Continue to Renovate Their LA Home

While Julia Roberts and other celebrities have put their properties in the market for quite a long while already, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem to have been enjoying improving their house in Los Angeles.

People Magazine shared that the couple are not holding back their money for the renovation costs of their $19.75 million mansion they purchased in August 2014. The couple are pouring so much of their money into their home in Hidden Hills, California. Fixtures amounting to $20,000, not to mention installing the perfect flooring, have been spent for this home, making the couple's expenses endless, The Real Deal reported.

The couple has been improving this 15,667-square-foot French country-style home since their purchase almost two years ago, Business Insider revealed. The house has 10 bathrooms, eight bedrooms, a pool, and a 1,000-square-foot outdoor entertainment pavilion.

A report in RadarOnline.com also revealed that the couple had long been feuding about redesigning their property. West had been wanting to overhaul the property. He wanted to install a recording studio in it, as per source.

"This is exactly how the nightmare project with the Bel Air house started! It was just supposed to be opening the floorplan on the ground floor, which of course turned into completely gutting the house," a source shared via Radar Online.

Radar also reported that the couple's priority plan is to install a $750,000 worth "glam room" and "his and hers toilets." However, this plan wasn't pushed through and since then, Kim just wanted to keep the home simple, as per source. Reports also show that their renovation ideas include installing a new kitchen.

According to Luxury Listings NYC, West posted on Twitter asking Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook to invest $1 billion, of which the rapper later clarified.

"Yes I am personally rich and I can buy furs and houses for my family," but, "I need access to more money in order to bring more beautiful ideas to the world," West posted on Twitter.

The reality show couple also owns a property in Bel Air, which they bought back in 2013. They also renovated it but reports say that the couple had a clash of differing design aesthetics, ending up just leaving the house and never really lived in. According to People, their Bel Air home is now on the market for $20 million.
