Home Design Ideas: Smart Office Architecture Inspirations from Thailand Homes

Because of modern technology, a lot of people are now working from their homes. Working from home gives people a lot of advantages, that is why more homeowners opt for a place where they can have their own office or work space. Curbed reports that apartments in Bangkok, Thailand provide a lot of inspiration, and it is where the architecture studio Integrated Field got the idea of taking the home office a step further.

The units being sold in the apartment include an office on the ground level and an open floor plan on the two levels. The upper floors are also where the bedrooms are located. In their design, not only does the home efficiently divides the space, but the double height spaces allow significant amount of sunlight to enter. There is also custom-built open cubicle storage along the walls to make sure that the floors are free from clutter.

Creating an efficient and stylish workplace inside the home is easier that many would think. Real Simple posted some small office ideas that can be placed in any corner of the home. These small offices do not need a separate room to be complete. With just a set of table and chair, any space or corner inside the home can be designed into a small private office where one can work comfortably.

The site suggested looking for a spot inside the home near the window. By setting a desk and chair in front of a window, one can fill the empty corner with a tall bookcase or storage furniture that will complement the existing pieces inside the room. It may be in the bedroom or even in the living room. To make the space into an efficient working area, make sure that the work area is away from the bed. Aside from that, choosing the right color palette will also enhance productivity.
