Brooklyn’s Most Expensive Rental Increases Its Price to $29K a Month

The $29,000 per month rent of the 6,300-square-foot townhouse at 11 Cranberry Street is the most expensive rental unit in Brooklyn. The meticulously designed historic home is furnished and available for short or long term rent.

The neighborhood offers great views of the bridge and the river, as well as is near the Brooklyn Bridge Park. In addition to its historic description and the high ceilings of the home, it has a designer flair with modern conveniences like "an epic five zone Sonos music system."

The townhouse features floor-to-ceiling windows, two fireplaces, and a grand dining room that can accommodate up to ten persons. There's also a chef's kitchen in classic white, and an open sitting room that overlooks a landscaped garden which has "one of the oldest and most lovely walnut trees in the Heights."

Rental prices are rising in Brooklyn. According to StreetEasy, its median sales price in the fourth quarter of 2015 was up 2.1 percent from last year.
