Storage Solution: Things that Need to be Removed from Your Closet

Having a small room is of course equivalent to a small storage space, thus those who are fond of shopping would find it hard to look for an effective storage space. Keeping a clutter-free closet is a must as a cramped storage space would usually result to unused clothes, wrinkled formal wear, and the list goes on.

Efficient storage solutions means that that you would have to let go of some things that can no longer be put to use. Though some may look good on you, or you might "eventually" use it one day, let those go, because chances are, you're never going to use them.

Listed below are a few things that need to leave your closet ASAP for you to have enough storage space as per Real Simple and Apartment Therapy:

Old Bags

Though your old bag may still look polished, but as long as you're no longer using it, might as well let it go. Just because it's expensive, it doesn't mean that you should hoard it. If you'd have second thoughts on throwing it out or giving it to someone else, sell it on a garage sale along with other items that you've removed from your closet.

Stained or Damaged Garments

If you're not using it as a sleepwear, then throw it out or donate it to charity. Not only does it eat up your closet space, but it also stops you from investing on new garments that are "fit" to use. Hoarding old clothes and damaged pieces is one of the major reasons why your closet would end up stuffed and cramped.

Jeans/ Clothes that's No Longer Your Size

Yes! Old clothes and jeans or anything in your closet that no longer fits need to leave your storage space asap. Don't ever consider the fact that you'll either lose/gain weight just to fit on that specific wardrobe, because chances are, it'll only crowd your closet. Plus! Losing/gaining weight is one of the best reasons to shop for new clothes .
