Celebrity Homes for Sale: Dallas Stars Defenseman Alex Goligoski Sells Texas Home for $2M

Dallas Stars defenseman and alternate captain Alex Goligoski is selling his Texas home for $2 million. According to Realtor, the property was once voted as one of D Magazine's Most Beautiful Homes. Goligoski  made several renovations on the Highland Park Colonial property which was originally built in the 1930s.

Listing details of the property reveal that the home has an approximately 4,400 square feet with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The place also has an enormous chef's kitchen which is painted in all-white and is decorated with trendy marble countertops and a farmhouse sink. The family room also has a marble theme which extends to the fireplace mantel, and it is also decorated with patterned carpeting. The master bedroom located upstairs has an enormous master bathroom and offers a stunning view of the neighborhood.

Outside, there is a beautiful backyard that is complete with a covered patio, an outdoor pool and kitchen, which was designed by Bonick Landscaping. There is also a fireplace which is just steps away from the pool. Overall, the property offers tremendous amount of natural light with its large windows, and it is decorated with the finest designer pieces that would suit any taste.

Goligoski currently plays for the Dallas Stars and is also the current alternate captain for the team. His professional career began with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2004, and he played his first NHL game against the Boston Bruins on Feb. 13. On June 15, 2009, he signed a $5.5 million three-year contract with the Penguins, and on the same year, he also won the Stanley Cup. In February 2011, he was traded to the Dallas Stars for James Neal. On Jan. 23, 2012, he signed a four-year, $18.4 million contract extension with Dallas.
