New York Real Estate: Greenwich Townhouse Asks for $15M

A beautifully designed house in Greenwich Village is now listed for $15 million. According to New York Curbed, the place recently had an extensive renovation by Baxt Ingui Architects.

Listing details for the property reveal that the house which has a total of 5,634 square feet of living space was originally built in 1899 and was also made into separate apartments in the past. The place features a total of five floors, and the master bedroom spans the entire third floor of the building. It was reported that the master bedroom comes with a spacious walk-in closet and an attached bathroom which comes with herringbone-laid marble floors and marble slab walls.

The kitchen located on the ground floor is equipped with high-end appliances and decorated with marble backsplashes, steel cabinets and Caesar stone counters. Adjacent to it is the great room which features double height ceilings and offers an overlooking view of the garden.

The house also features a cellar which can be accessed through the stairway or the elevator. The area is a perfect place to convert into a playroom, office or a media room. The cellar has two large wine refrigerators, and it also has a full bathroom and large laundry room equipped with double full-sized washers.

The fourth floor has another bedroom which faces south and overlooks the neighboring gardens. On the north side of the floor, there is an additional double wide bedroom suite which can be converted into two smaller rooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and there is an additional full-sized washer on the floor.

Lastly, the penthouse floor which is on the fifth floor is accessible via the elevator. It has a small terrace to the south and a larger one located on the north wing of the floor. The floor could be converted into an additional bedroom, and the skylights from this floor go all the way down to the Parlor floor.
