Joe Jonas Rents a Hollywood Hills Pad for $40,000 a Month

Joe Jonas recently sold his Fairfax Avenue home for $2.88 million. Now, he is renting a pad in Hollywood Hills for a whopping $40,000 a month.

Jonas, one of the Jonas Brothers and now a DNCE frontman, is currently leasing a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom pad on Cardwell Place close to the Sunset Strip, as reported by The Real Deal.

"This is the most spectacular property on the market in this price range. There is literally nothing else like it," Carl Gambino of Westside Estate Agency said.

The pad was once home to Wrecking Crew, a group of famous session musicians. It features a circular living room, a pool, and a hidden murphy style bar located at the living room. The property is also listed on the market for $4.6 million.

Jonas bought his West Hollywood home in 2014 for $2.6 million. He has been without a crash pad ever since he sold it in late 2015. He and his brothers stayed in an Airbnb rental in New York to spend the holidays.

It seems Jonas is having a property on his mind since breaking up with his Victoria's Secret Angel girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. He started renting homes in LA's Runyon Canyon not too long after selling his West Hollywood home in November, according to Celebuzz.

DNCE just released its very first single, which marked Jonas' re-entry into the music world since the Jonas Brothers stopped performing as a group in 2013.

"It's tough for artists to get second chances in the music industry these days," Jonas said in an October interview with Rolling Stone. "Getting a chance to come at it like a new artist and a new band is incredible."

Meanwhile, Jonas will be appearing in "Grease Live!" together with the DNCE. They will be appearing as Johnny Casino (Jonas) and The Gamblers (DNCE).
