Nike is set to release several new Christmas edition sneakers inspired by some of the best basketball players in the country, the LeBron 12 Christmas and the Kobe 9 Elite Christmas, Sneaker Files reported.
The new footwear inspired by Cleveland Cavaliers player LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers player Kobe Bryant will reportedly be available sometimes this December, just in time for basketball fans and gift givers alike.
The Nike LeBron 12 Christmas footwear comes in an emerald green color scheme with hyper punch dark emerald tones, while the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Christmas will come in bright crimson with splashes of black and white.
Pictures of the LeBron 12 Christmas sneaker are available on Sole Collector, showing off the teal Megafuse upper, the snowflake design printed on the tongue and the graphic printed Hyperosite hardness.
Pictures of the Kobe 9 Elite Christmas can be seen on Sneaker News, and interested fans can get a glimpse of its Flyknit uppers and the combination of red, white and green splashed across the footwear.
Despite the pictures and details of the footwear coming out, there has been no confirmation on when and where to buy them.
The release date for the LeBron 12 Christmas has been reported as Dec. 24 and will be available at local Nike retail shops, according to Kicks on Fire. However, Sneaker Files state that it will be available on Dec. 26 at a price of $220.
The Kobe 9 Elite Christmas, on the other hand, has no known release date yet, according to Kicks on Fire, but it was rumored to come at a price tag of $250 on Dec. 26., according to Sneaker Files.
Sneaker Bar Detroit gave a different price, however, and claimed the footwear will have a slightly higher price tag of $275.
There has been no official confirmation from Nike as to when and where to purchase them and on what price.
Aside from the two, other footwear from Nike will also go on sale this holiday season, according to Sneaker Bar Detroit and their Sneaker Release Dates page.
Fans can expect the KD 7 and the KD 7 NSW Lifestyle inspired by Oklahoma City Thunder player Kevin Durant. Also being released are the Air Max Penny LE Doernbecher, the Air Trainer 2 Premium, Air Max 1 Escape, Internationslist Mid Escape, Air Foamposite Pro and more.
Other footwear inspired by James and Bryant will also arrive, such as the LeBron 12 Data, the LeBron 12 Trillion Dollar Man and the Kobe 9 High KRM EXT.
