Colorful Households Are in This Year; Here's a Look at Some Color Schemes

Did you know that colorful households are a huge thing this year? If you are the type of person who is fond of living in a colorful abode, here are some color schemes you might want to consider.

According to Elle Décor, Pantone hues are such a big thing this year, but this does not mean that those are the only colors you should use at home. Rose Quartz and Serenity are the Pantone colors for this year, but there are more variants to these hues.

According to wall mural company Pixersize, the best thing to do is to integrate the soft shades into your home and combine them with stronger colors. The company specifically noted that combining soft and darker colors is the most ideal for living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms. For the bedroom, blue is the most ideal because it gives off a relaxing feel to any homeowner.

Meanwhile, you can also mix and match colors such as Rose Quartz, Opal Blue, Opal Gray, Orchid Haze and Lilac Gray. These colors will give off both a persuasive but gentle look to your bathroom, bedroom or living room.

"Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the color tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace. The prevalent combination of Rose Quartz and Serenity also challenges traditional perceptions of color association," the company noted.

In other news, both colors are also perfectly matched with materials such as copper, marble, wool, steel, linen and wood.

Meanwhile, if these colors don't necessarily appeal to your taste, worry not because you can also choose your own hues. After all, it's your home, so whatever you like should be what you'll get.
