Former Baseball Superstar Nate McLouth Selling Tennessee Mansion

The former Pirates outfielder made the headlines at it was reported by Realtor that Nate McLouth is selling his lakefront mansion in Louisville for $1.6 million.

The lakefront property is made of a beautifully embedded stone archway, which pave way into a two storey entry room. The entire has a total of 7,493 square foot house. The websites gave out the property's interior stating, "It features hand-scraped hardwood floors, coffered ceilings, an open kitchen, a wet bar, and a media room. A brick wine cellar with a wood-paneled ceiling complements the elegant design of the house."

The entire house has five bedroom and five spacious bathrooms.

The media room is spacious enough to accommodate 5-10 people with a huge screen and a comfy couch. The open kitchen on the other hand is elegantly designed with beautiful warm lighting and wooden flooring.

The master's bathroom looks sophisticated with the warm light and the huge bath tub and the wooden compartments compliment the bathroom's design thus giving a soothing touch into the room.

On the exterior part of the home, the website released a photo of the beautiful landscape. The house, which sits beside the lake is filled with greenery, and a beautiful patio leads to the entry way.

As per the website, the baseball player bought the property for $1.1 million back in 2011.

The former MLB veteran missed the entire season last year after suffering from a serious shoulder injury. In 2008, McLouth had his best season as he became an All-Star and a Gold Glove recipient. He then signed a 2-year $10 million contract with the Washington Nationals. McLouth's performance during 2013's season however didn't go well as expected. In 2014, he had a total 173 batting average after his performance continually declined.
