Having a place to stay is not just enough this generation. With all the advancements at hand, convenience and comfort seemed to be immediately equated with a decent home. The convenience of living and its known standards definitely had changed as years passed by.

It is a known fact that the comforts of our homes are not just a product of one generation. The convenience and comfort we experience at home are results of generation and generations of innovations and inventions. Refrigeration

Scottish-born Australian, James Harrison created the first commercial ice making machine in 1855. This refrigeration system that uses a vaporiser and compressor was first used in a brewery, and inspired the creation of today's modern fridge.

The Victa Mower

This first of its kind rotary mower was created as a backyard project in 1953 by the New South Wales inventor, Mervyn Victor Richardson. Over seven million of the popular grass cutters were sold by 1997 in 30 countries. The ideas and crude inventions of the past have indeed lessened our burdens here in the future. However, it remains a challenge for everyone to come up with more sophisticated and more helpful inventions to cater the necessity of today's generation.
