Amsterdam Hotels: A Closer Look at the Newly Opened The Arcade Hotel That’s Meant for Gamers

Gaming addicts who are planning to visit Amsterdam in Netherlands should definitely check out the aptly named The Arcade Hotel, which was built with gamers in mind. This new real estate property is different from other Amsterdam hotels because of its features and amenities that cater to video game fans.

According to Digital Trends, the hotel is a playground for gaming enthusiasts and is perfect for those who simply want to stay in while in Amsterdam. The hotel is home to rooms which has a retro console each, and the lobby also features shared game consoles as well as a comic book library.  According to the report, the management is also looking into adding a dedicated gaming room along with nine more rooms.

The hotel's official website states that it offers "gaming, mid-century design and a lot of heart and soul under one roof." Besides the gaming-centered features one won't ordinarily find in other Amsterdam hotels, The Arcade Hotel also offers various perks such as late check out, until 1:00 pm, free unlimited earth coffee, and loose tea and free welcome drink. The Amsterdam hotel also offers discount on breakfast, which costs 9 €; the normal price is 12 €. All such perks can only be enjoyed if one books directly with The Arcade Hotel.

For those who are not gaming enthusiasts, however, Digital Trends reports that there are still a lot to enjoy in the Amsterdam hotel such as its delicious food and "bikegantomatic fleet of bikes." The Arcade Hotel website boasts its local cheese, given that Netherlands is a cheese country, its organic jams, its honey, which would reportedly make Winnie the Pooh sell Piglet for, and its "best DIY waffles." The Amsterdam hotel's bike rentals, meanwhile, comes in handy due to the property's proximity to Museum Square and other attractions.
