Luxury home that once belonged to rocker Steve Miller has been listed for $6.2 million.

Steve Miller, who will be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame sometime this year, once owned and lived in this 5,060-square-foot home until he sold it in 1982 to a philanthropist named Elizabeth Blakeney. She truly enjoyed living in the guitar maestro's abode that up until her death in June last year, she was still calling 1019 Evergreen Point Rd. her home address.
The five-bedroom house also has 4.75 bathrooms which perfectly complements the gigantic master bedroom. There is a very private and spacious "writer's room" plus there is heating for the home swimming pool. A covered patio leads to a garage that could house three vehicles and accentuated by well-maintained grounds. What sets the property apart is having an access to an extra 2 acres of space which is shared with three homes nearby. It includes a private dock, tennis court, cabana and a wide space for children's play area. The asking price for the property is $6.2 million.

His first foray into band music came in high school when he played with future star Boz Scaggs. He pursued college but before graduating he decided to drop out and concentrated on making a career in music. He then moved to Chicago where he partnered with Barry Goldberg. Miller grew restless even after moving to New York so he headed out West in San Francisco where he founded the Steve Miller Band in 1960s.
