EVP Rick Sharga has been promoted by the online real estate site Ten-X as the company's chief marketing officer. Mr. Sharga's role as the chief marketing officer will be drawn from his wide experience in the field of technology, real estate and consumer marketing, that will lead the company's corporate branding, marketing, and corporate communications. Meantime, the former Auction.com, created in 2007, has been re-branded as Ten-X since Jan. 11, 2016.

According to CEO Tim Morse, Ten-X is the best place to effectively impact the world's concept about real estate transactions, and with the help of Sharga's expertise, the company is now preparing to release the latest technology that will empower a large audience. Benefitting from the strong leadership of Sharga, the company looks forward to completely leverage his abilities as the chief marketing officer, Urbanland reported.

The new chief marketing officer is among the country's most quoted sources on mortgage, real estate, and even in foreclosure trends. He has served as the EVP for Carrington Holding Company prior to joining the Ten-X company in 2013. Before Carrington, he also served as the SVP for RealtyTrac, in which he was recognized and awarded the Stevie Award for National Marketing Executive. For many years, Sharga has made and carried out sales and marketing programs for a lot of well-known technology firms like Hitachi, Toshiba, Honeywell, JD Edwards and Fujitsu.

According to Sharga, when he joined Auction.com back in 2013, he was looking forward to becoming a member of a company, which could change the manner of commercial and residential real estate by leveraging the technology in such a way that has never been made before, DSNews reported. "I'm pleased to accept this new challenge of turning Ten-X into a strong national brand which is known for providing more transparent and efficient real estate dealings for sellers, buyers and the real estate professionals," Sharga added.
