Senator Marco Rubio Dragged Into Real Estate Trouble

Corruption isn't a new thing at all as far as politics is concerned but being the "talk of the town" with all cameras on you, social media talking about you, and broadsheets having your name in the headline after doing such should come as no surprise.

This is what Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida should be expecting for after he has been reportedly committing blunder while in the senatorial office.

Observer News & Politics revealed that Rubio earned his wealth after getting into politics especially after becoming the Florida House majority leader earning $122,000 to $300,000 since 2003. Based on financial disclosure forms, his earnings even tripled during the two years in office, grew in 2008, and most probably grew even more when he became Florida House speaker in November 2006.

Two years before he ran and assumed the U.S. Senate seat, he partnered with Florida Strategic Consultants, a law/lobbying firm. With the Florida House Budget subcommittee chairman, Esteban Bovo, Rubio shared in the appropriation of money for the Miami Children's Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital. The two have been alleged to have been earning big from this.

Meanwhile, apart from his alleged plunder, Rubio also has had romantic affairs with a woman working in his office. A book about Jim Greer, former head of the Florida Republican Party who was arrested for money laundering, entitled "The Chairman: The Rise and Betrayal of Jim Greer," mentions about this affair.

"There was an indication that Rubio had an affair," said Greer. A woman who had worked in his legislative office when he was Speaker of the House abruptly left and got a job at Florida International University as a part-time professor. Emails she had sent him through her college account had become public record.

The emails reportedly included things like, "I have to talk to you right now. I can't take this anymore. Why aren't you returning my calls?" To an oppositional researcher the Crist campaign had hired, it appeared there had been a close relationship between the two and that Rubio had broken it off," a passage from the book reads.

Moreover, Rubio, according to reports, has profited much from several companies and organizations, even real estate such as Real Family Values Inc., Florida Media Productions Group, and Floridians for Conservative Leadership in Government, among others.

According to Observer News & Politics, he has made tons of cash in politics and real estate but records show has major cash flow problems. With all the cash and profits Rubio has made since he became senator has raised a lot of questions and speculations like "Where does all the money go?" Accumulated financial reports and evidences can answer this.
