London Real Estate: Most Expensive House in Victoria Road, Kensington Is Listed for £8 Million

The luxurious four-bedroom house in Kensington's Victoria Road is for sale, but only to buyers who can shell out £8 million.

According to Evening Standard, the property that is valued as one of the most expensive in the United Kingdom is sitting in a road near Kensington High Street shops and just a short walking distance from Hyde Park.

This four-bedroom house will be the first house to be sold since 2013. The last house that was sold in Victoria Road did go for £13 million, although the luxury houses along this road have an average asking price of £8 million.

It is now being marketed by Black Sea Estates' specialist luxury agents and the prospective buyers are welcome to have a tour to see the mansion's grand entrance hall that is more than 3, 000 square feet in size before being shown around the house's four floors.

The house's upper two floors are four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Fancy fabrics and rugs, as well as a lavish chandelier at the dining room make the property more luxurious. There is an additional terrace located at the master suite. Dark wood and subtle taupe tones create a classy color palette across the expensive house, as reported by the Daily Mail

Richard Chiti of Black Sea Estates said, "Houses don't come up for sale that often. In fact, they are few and far between. So when they do come up for sale we have huge interest. We have a number of applicants who register with us who only want that patch."

There are many good schools around the area and it is nearby parks, so once people bought the property they remain in place for years.

Chiti said that the golden patch includes Victoria Road, Cottesmore Gardens, St Albans Grove and Eldon Road, where the particular house sits on the corner. The property sits on the more desirable, quieter end of the private street.
