Midtown Penthouse Property in Atlanta Goes on Resale for $1.79M

A penthouse property above Midtown's Loews Hotel is being resold for $1.79 million.

According to Curbed Atlanta, a quick glance at the property might give prospective buyers the impression that the penthouse is quite outdated. However, a closer look will reveal that it is actually a pretty impressive private home that is being resold due to recent conversion of penthouses to condominiums. As such, the 52 former apartments situated on top of the four-star hotel is being sold at quite a hefty sum of money.

The publication revealed that the Midtown Penthouse only has three rooms and it measures approximately 2,288 square feet.

"It's significantly more expensive than a neighboring new penthouse that's only slightly smaller, but it's possible that serious dough was dropped on special perks like Lutron lighting, automated shades and that Creston sound system," the publication noted.

Additionally, the penthouse also comes with Brazilian hand-scraped hardwoods that look rather pristine. Other facilities include a gym, spa, room service, dry cleaning, chipper concierge and a whole lot more.

Meanwhile, if this penthouse in Atlanta isn't right for you, know that there are still a wide range of properties you can buy in the area. In fact, some of them are deemed to be cheaper than the other options.

For instance, Zillow came up with a list of properties available for sale in the area. This includes a one unit townhouse that is being sold at $449,900. A small house in Lee Andrews Ave SE is also being sold for a reasonable price of $46,000. The property comes with three bedrooms and one bathroom.

Additionally, a condominium at Maribeau Sq NW is being sold for $189,000. The property houses three bedrooms and two bathrooms at 1,500-square feet. If you're still undecided on which property to purchase, make sure to check outhe other options you have online.
