Jeremy Shockey Net Worth: Price of Former American Football Player's Penthouse for Sale Slashed to $2.9M

Former American football tight end Jeremy Shockey is selling his luxurious penthouse located on the 36th floor of the Waverly, South Beach for $2.9 million. It was said that the asking price of Shockey's property has been slashed by $100,000 last week from its original asking price of $3 million, which is equivalent to $1, 123 per square foot, a report from Curbed said.

According to the report, Shockey's real estate property has three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms and sits on a 2,582-square-foot floor area. It can be recalled that the former NFL star and Miami Hurricanes tight end bought the penthouse for $1.5 million back in 2005.

Shockey's penthouse has several residential features such as spacious bathrooms, secluded balconies, fully equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances, fantastic city, ocean and bay views, full-size washer and dryer and walk-in closets, among others.

"An open-plan living room, a kidney-shaped wet bar and a galley-style kitchen with blue-colored cabinetry are within the 2,582 square feet of interiors. The master suite has a step-up bed platform and a private balcony for a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Outdoor features include a terrace patio. A single covered parking space is also included with the unit," Los Angeles Times said.

It was said that Shockey is expecting 100 percent return of investments once he sells the expensive pad. The future owner of the penthouse will surely enjoy the beautiful views of the Biscayne Bay as well as the panoramic view of the downtown Miami skyline. The property was listed by Miami Condo Investments.

"Shockey has a net worth of $15 million dollars. He chose to enter the NFL Draft in 2001, and was subsequently picked up by the New York Giants for the 2002 season. He played well for the Giants from 2002 to 2007. Unfortunately, a broken fibula during the 2007 season, proved problematic, and he was subsequently traded to the New Orleans Saints," Celebrity Net Worth said.
