Home Disclosure: A New Tool to Help Home Buyers

According to realty data that were recently released, there is a new tool that people can use when they want to look for a new home. This tool puts a public data trove for almost 115 million homes in America.

There's a ton of data available, including estimated property values, environmental risks, public and private school rankings, tax history, neighborhood demographics and crime. In all, Home Disclosure explores 42 factors that can impact a homeowner's "health, safety and financial security," the company says.

Home buyers could always have much of this detail by government databases and other sites, however Home Disclosure integrated all of them together. For now, Home Disclosure is free, although, there will be a "full launch early next year."

Presently, users can save reports for a month and print it as PDFs to compare before purchasing.  Home Disclosure is customized to help home purchasers make accomplished decisions, however it's more fun if you don't have the money yet. For renters, Home Disclosure helps them learn some more information, like how much their landlord paid for their building and what he loaned over its estimated cost. They will also know how much he's been paying in yearly property taxes, and which areas have more crooks living, and even how they look like.  Other fun details: There are 12 reports on environmental risks and if an apartment has never functioned before as a drug lab.

So if you would like to purchase a home, there's a lot of detail and information you can gather to make the decision beyond home comparisons. You should know how much money you have saved for an initial cash out or downpayment, how much homes you can buy or afford, and where the credit stands.
