2015 Celebrity Home Movers: Top Celebrities Who Changed Real Estate Properties

As 2015 has officially ended, famous Hollywood celebrities have marked a record in the real estate industry. It was said that some stars made some noise in real estate with their purchases, including Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Lena Dunham, Pharrell, Beyoncé, Kimye, Taylor Swift, and Channing Tatum, among others, a report from LA Curbed said.

Listed below are the celebrities who made a big move in the real estate industry in 2015.

Topping the list is actor Jared Leto, who bought the "Lookout Mountain Air Force" station. It was said that the station was once a secret studio used for nuclear bomb testing films.

American comedian Bob Hope sold a real estate property in Toluca Lake. The said property was acquired by Hope back in 1939 and was re-introduced in the market in January last year with an initial asking price of $23 million. However, in July, the house's price has been slashed down to $12 million.

Jennifer Lopez's luxurious Hidden Hills mansion has been listed in the market for $17 million. Recently, the property's asking price has been reduced to $14.5 million. It features a giant dance studio or gymnasium.

"Transformers" movie director Michael Bay built his Mid-Century Modern house in February last year. Bay's residence has been described as a "ridiculous new mansion."

In the same month, actor Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan bought a palatial residential property in Beverly Hills. The property is described as a Cape Cod-style house.

Still in February last year, Kylie Jenner bought a mansion located in Calabasas. The actress paid $2.695 million for the said property which is close to her mother's and sisters' homes.

In addition, transgender woman Caitlyn Jenner purchased a mansion back in March in Malibu for $3.575 million, according to Yahoo.
